Pam Thomas studied at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City in 1979, raised a family, and began working in retail for many years. Countless women she styled, struggled to find elegant occasion wear with sleeves. Everything seemed to be sleeveless or strapless so the only option was to offer a Shawl or a shrug.

One day, Pam had the same dilemma... Looking for something to wear to a family wedding, she decided to attach gorgeous satin sleeves to her body shaping camisole and wear it under her beautiful sleeveless dress. It made her dress look incredibly slenderizing and elegant.  It was in that moment that inspiration for The BodyBlouse was created and she realized that this was the option women have been looking for all along.
